Holistic Discontinuity

Library and Arts gallery in Berkeley. This project explored the relationship between Form and Space; a bar typology building is intersected with interiors that break up the linearity of the form. The complex relationship between these two elements are mediated through the construction of a perforated curtain wall where the percentages of filtered light are aligned with the programmatic demand. This proposal expresses theory through tectonic production.
